2016 Vendor Opportunities

The City of Sammamish is seeking vendors that have products, customers and promotional goals consistent with the City’s character, values and service priorities. To be considered for an event, potential vendors must be family friendly and contribute to the overall event’s success.
Qualifying vendors will be selected on a first come, first served basis and space is limited. Submitting an Event Vendor Interest Form does not guarantee acceptance. All applicants will be notified as to the status of their application within two weeks of receipt. While our goal is to have a variety of vendors represented at events, some popular items may be duplicated depending on the anticipated attendance and event layout.
Accepted applicants will receive a vendor welcome packet that provides more information about the event, vendor requirements and payment deadlines. One week prior to the event, you will receive an event logistics packet with a site map, your booth or vehicle location, parking passes and other “day of” information.

Categories & Requirements
Commercial vendors are businesses, organizations or individuals who sell products or services at the event. This category of vendors must have a City of Sammamish business license, a certificate of insurance that listed the “City of Sammamish” as additional insured and if selling food, a temporary food service permit from King County Public Health. Vendor fees range between $0 and $300 depending on the event.
Community Vendors are organizations that provide information or marketing about an event, opportunity or the organization. This category of vendors must have a certificate of insurance that listed the “City of Sammamish” as additional insured. Discounted vendor fees range between $0 and $125 depending on the event.
Community Partners are 501(c)3 organizations that receive a human services grant from the City or have a current partnership agreement with the City. They add to the event by offering an activity or entertainment and provide information or marketing about an event, opportunity or the organization.

Our largest annual community event hosts crowds often in excess of 10,000 people.
Saturday, August 20 from 10:00a-2:00p
This popular event is growing and currently attracts approximately 3,000 people.
Very Merry Sammamish
Friday, December 2 from 5:00-7:30p
Holiday season kick off with approximately 2,000 attendees.
Saturday, April 30 from 10:00a-2:00p
Around 1,000 people will be on-site exploring vehicles and meeting the community helpers that run them.
Big Rock Park Opening
Saturday, May 21 from 10:00a-2:00p
As a much anticipated park opening, we expected attendance around 500 people.
Tricks & Flicks
Friday, June 3 from 5:00-11:00p
This unique event pairs a skateboarding contest with an outdoor movie and 500 people are expected.
