What Does the City Administrative Department do

The Department of Administrative Services plans, directs, and coordinates activities for City operations on a daily basis. The areas that it supports are Human Resources, Contracts and Grants, DEIB, and Safety. Additionally, it provides management and oversight to support the efficacy and financial integrity of City programs, activities, and resources. It accomplishes this by developing, implementing, and monitoring policies and systems in assigned areas. This includes coordinating assigned activities with other departments and outside agencies.
