The City of Sammamish and the Sammamish Citizen Corps invite you to join us in getting prepared for all types of emergencies this September as part of National Preparedness Month.
Join us at the free 14th annual Disaster Preparedness Fair that will be held on September 7th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The Preparedness Fair will be held at the Central Washington University Sammamish location, 120 228th Ave. NE.
The Fair will help bring awareness to being better prepared for emergencies and disasters. Learn how to build an emergency kit and make a disaster plan. Find out how to get involved in neighborhood and community preparedness programs to prepare you for natural and man-made hazards threatening the City of Sammamish.
There will be exhibits, vendor booths, demonstrations, hands-on fire extinguisher and sidewalk CPR learning stations and much more. Come learn from professional speakers about potential Sammamish and Washington disasters, including earthquakes, Water needed during disasters and more.
Since there are no warnings for when a disaster may occur, preparing for them cannot wait.
