City of Sammamish - COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Information & Resources
Sammamish strives to maintain open government. The Mayor and City Council, in an effort to comply with the directives from the Office of the State Attorney General, will now provide limited in-person access to City Council meetings, beginning March 17. This is an amendment to the March 9 announcement that there would be no in-person access to public meetings until further notice.
Members of the public may come to the doors off the Common on the south side of the building. If queuing up, please maintain 6 feet of space between people. In keeping with public health guidelines, we will admit a maximum number of 9 members of the public, who may then find a seat in the lobby from which to observe the meeting and make public comment in compliance with the published agenda.
We can admit additional members of the public as people leave, as long as there are no more than 9 members of the public in the meeting at a given time.
Members of the public who are at risk, including those over the age of 60, those with underlying health conditions or suppressed immune systems, and those who are pregnant, are highly discouraged from attending.
These meetings will continue to be broadcast to Channel 21 within Sammamish and archived on our YouTube Channel. Thy will also be livestreamed on our Facebook page.
