Sammamish Walks is a program offered by dedicated volunteers in partnership with the City of Sammamish.
The walk will focus on the trails around Yellow Lake in Klahanie and give helpful lessons on what to be aware of when you are “in the woods” while being here in the City of Sammamish. Fun for kids of all ages.
Please meet by the park and ride lot at Klahanie Association offices, 4210 244th Pl SE, Sammamish.
Held from April through October, Sammamish walk events are leisurely strolls in our local parks, and focus on various nature-related topics. Most walks start at 10:00 AM and last 1-2 hours.
Volunteer walk leaders include wildlife experts, naturalists, photographers and park commissioners, all of whom are enthusiastic about our regional parks and trails.
Bring your camera and binoculars, but please leave your dog at home, as walks focus on plants and wildlife.
