Hi City of Sammamish Permit Center.  I am emailing per guidance on the sign at Sammamish City Hall.  Please redirect if there is a more appropriate place.

I recently purchased the home next door and I was given a commitment from the selling agent that they reviewed the plans with the builder and negociated to ensure they would not obstruct my view, this was part of the agreement to let the builder sub-divide the lot into three (which in my opinion the city should have never approved to be divided so small).  In reviewing the plans the builder recently posted to Redfin and claimed they submitted building permits to the City of Sammamish on 10/7.  In reviewing the diagrams they posted, they are building a three story home with a high roof.

 

This is not aligned with the good faith agreement from the builder which I would like to point out to the city.  Additionally, when looking at the zoning rules it is an R-4 zoned lot and clearly appears to be higher than the maximum 35 feet maximum per the Sammamish zoning in section “21A.25.030 Densities and dimensions – Residential zones”.  I would also like to call out that the lot is on a steep slope, and per measurement methods the maximum is only to 35 feet of the average of the lot.  I hypothesize that the plans are to maximum of the top of the lot, not average of slope.

Can you please send / review both the plans to confirm maximum building height as well as send / review the lot survey to confirm it does not exceed 35 feet of the average lot elevation.

Sorry, I typo’d the second address.  I got the parcel numbers from the King County parcel viewer website.  These are new lots that are a subdivision of Parcel 0724069065 (2815 194th Ave SE)
