Happy Retirement, Marlene! (2).png

The very first employee for the City of Sammamish, Marlene Dunham, retires today after more than 20 years of service. After residents voted to incorporate, she was the first person employed to do the fundamental tasks of writing the checks and the making phone calls necessary to turn us into an actual city. When she began, "City Hall" was in an office space near what is today Trader Joe's. She retires as the City's Contract Administrator. Thank you for all of your years of service to the City, Marlene, and happy retirement!
