City of Sammamish - COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Information & Resources
City Manager Dave Rudat announced the appointment of Lisa Marshall as City Attorney, effective today.
A graduate of the University of Puget Sound School of Law in 1994, Marshall has served as city attorney for the cities of Lake Stevens, Maple Valley, Edgewood, Duvall, Burien, Newcastle, Bainbridge Island, and now Sammamish. In addition to her work as a legal public servant, Marshall also worked for T-Mobile between 2012 – 2014, negotiating contracts for the network engineering division of the company. It was while working for T-Mobile that Lisa became a subject matter expert on wireless technology and the regulatory framework in which the industry operates.
“The City of Sammamish is fortunate to have someone like Lisa, with her level of caliber and experience, join our team. We already know Lisa to be a valuable contributor as she has been serving the City as outside counsel. As the City evolves, bringing in legal counsel in-house will be a huge benefit,” said Rudat. “I also want to take this opportunity to thank Mike Kenyon and his team at Kenyon Disend for their many years of partnership in providing legal services to our City.
“I’m excited to continue my service to the City of Sammamish as in-house counsel, after working with the team this past year,” said Marshall. “I look forward to working on the challenging and exciting projects ahead of us in this beautiful city which I also call home.”
