Storm debris drop-off sites set for Saturday, Feb. 18

If you have a tree debris you want to get rid of, the city is setting up two drop-off sites this coming Saturday.

  • Beaver Lake Park (ball fields parking lot) at 2526 244th Ave S.E.
  • East Sammamish Park at 21300 N.E. 16th St.

The time for both locations:

  • Saturday, Feb. 18, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Please note:

  • No drop-offs will be permitted before or after the designated time.
  • This is for residents only
  • No landscaping companies or other commercial operators allowed.

Allowed: Branches less than 4 ft. long.

Not allowed: Root balls, tree trunks, garbage, recycling, hazardous waste

Regarding debris pickup at your home:

  • Please note that under the new garbage contract, weekly yard debris collection is limited to only the containers you received from Republic Services (all extra yard debris outside of the cart is charged a fee).  There is an exception for this upcoming week only.  If your yard waste can was not serviced the week of the storm, you may put out double the amount of yard waste at no additional charge.  If you have storm debris in excess of these contractual limits, please take advantage of this storm-debris cleanup event.
