Sammamish City Council Approves Additional $209,792 in Non Profit Grant Support

In response to the ongoing needs of residents impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Sammamish City Council took action during their February 2nd meeting to allocate an additional $209,792 in grant funding to local nonprofits serving Sammamish residents. Combined with previous grant allocations, this action brings the City’s total COVID-19 nonprofit support to over $500,000.

The funded nonprofits serve residents in a variety of critical areas, such as food, shelter, senior services, mental health, and domestic violence. These organizations are primarily focused on local service delivery, and they have a track record of successfully providing services to our community. The City looks forward to continuing to work with these trusted long-term partners for the benefit of residents in need.
