City of Sammamish - COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Information & Resources
The City of Sammamish is soliciting bid proposals from contractors for the construction of the Phase I Improvement Project at Big Rock Park Site B. The work includes but is not limited to the demolition of existing structures, road pavement, HMA parking lot, cement concrete curb and gutter, cement concrete sidewalk, construction of pedestrian access ramps, fencing, foundation for a pre-fabricated restroom, sewage system, drainage improvements, electrical system installation, franchise utility coordination, site grading, irrigation, landscaping, channelization, traffic control, permanent signing, and coordination with restroom building contractor. The Engineer’s Estimate for this project is $1.7 million for all schedules.
Sealed bid proposals plainly marked “City of Sammamish, Big Rock Park Site B Phase I Improvements” on the outside of the mailing envelope, addressed to the City of Sammamish, 801 228th Avenue SE, Sammamish, WA 98075, will be accepted until 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 25, 2020. Bid proposals may also be hand-delivered in person to the main desk on the first floor of City Hall by the required date and time. Proposals delivered after the posted deadline will not be considered for selection. No faxed, telephone or emailed proposals will be accepted.
The site is not open to the public; therefore, an informational site visit is highly recommended. Two pre-bid conferences will be held (noted below):
1. Pre-Bid Conference #1: February 11th, 2020; 10:00 a.m. (local time)2. Pre-Bid Conference #2: February 19th, 2020; 1:00 p.m. (local time)
All interested parties shall meet at Big Rock Park – Site B at the south entrance to the park located at 1516 220th Ave SE, Sammamish, 98075. The existing structures (house, sauna, tree house, pump house, Reard House) will be open and available for tour.
