Earth Day Habitat Restoration - Volunteer Opportunity

East Sammamish Park
Join the city to work on a habitat restoration projects started by the Master Stewards from the Washington Native Plant Society. Come help establish native habitat by removing noxious weeds at East Sammamish Park in areas that were previously planted. We will also be apply mulch to areas that are bare of organic matter. Give back to your community, learn about native plants and enhance wildlife habitat!

Join us for the City of Sammamish Earth Day celebration! This event will feature crafts, activities, informational booths, prizes, food trucks, performances, petting zoo, scavenger hunt and many more! All ages are welcome! Also, honoring and recognizing Washington Native Plant Stewards from 2019 and yearly awards at noon that day!
