Become a Sponsor

The City of Sammamish hosts 20 events annually with approximately 30,000 in attendance. All of these events have sponsorship opportunities. No matter what your business or budget, there is a sponsorship opportunity that will help promote your business and help you build stronger community connections.

When you sponsor a City of Sammamish event, you have direct access to event attendees, and with the additional media coverage and event marketing, this reach goes up astronomically! These events are advertised primarily through the City newsletter, website and social media accounts. They are also listed in the Park & Recreation Guide and event specific marketing materials.

Be a Vendor

The City hosts three events that have multiple vendors opportunities: Fourth on the Plateau (on July 4th), Sammamish P.O.P. (Party on the Plat) and Very Merry Sammamish (on the first Friday in December). We look for vendors who have products, customers and promotional goals consistent with the City’s character, values and service priorities. To be considered for an event, potential vendors must be family friendly and contribute to the overall event’s success.


To be considered as a vendor, complete an Event Vendor Interest Form. Submitting an Event Vendor Interest Form does not guarantee acceptance. Space is limited and qualifying vendors are selected to fill existing needs on a first-come, first-served basis. Selected finalists will be notified as to the status of their application no later than 3 weeks prior to the event. While our goal is to have a variety of vendors represented at events, some popular items may be duplicated depending on the anticipated attendance and event layout.


Commercial vendors are businesses, organizations or individuals who sell products or services at the event. This category of vendors must have a City of Sammamish business license, a certificate of insurance that listed the “City of Sammamish” as additional insured and if selling food, a temporary food service permit from King County Public Health. Vendor fees range between $0 and $300 depending on the event.

Community vendors are organizations that provide information or marketing about an event, opportunity or the organization. This category of vendors must have a certificate of insurance that listed the “City of Sammamish” as additional insured. Discounted vendor fees range between $0 and $125 depending on the event. 

Community partners are 501(c)3 organizations that receive a human services grant from the City or have a current partnership agreement with the City. They add to the event by offering an activity or entertainment and provide information or marketing about an event, opportunity or the organization.


Get Hired as a Band/Performer

Entertainment for all summer events is selected in February with a submission deadline of January 31. Due to the number of submissions received, we may only contact you if you are selected to play. 


To be considered, submit the following information to Lynne Handlos in an electronic format

  1. Website with bio and the type of music you play or talent you offer;
  2. Song and/or stage performance samples;
  3. Photos;
  4. At least one video, preferably in an outdoor setting; and
  5. Your desired pay.


Entertainers primarily perform on city-provided 24’ by 16’ mobile stage. Occasionally and only as needed, some entertainers perform on ground. A professional sound technician would be provided at all events except the KidsFirst!. Performers for KidsFirst! performances need to provide their own sound.
