Apply for a Passport

Beginning September 1, 2017 passport applications are accepted by appointment only for new applications and for children under 16 years old who are reapplying. Check back for additional information on the process.

Passport Services

The City of Sammamish is an official Passport Acceptance Facility, providing general information on passport procedures and serving as a liaison between applicants and the U.S. Passport Services Agency.

The actual decision to issue or deny a passport is made only by a U.S. Passport Services Agency, not the City of Sammamish.

If you were 16 years of age or older when your most recent passport was issued, you may be eligible to renew by mail. Please visit travel.state.gov/passport for renewal information, required documentation, downloadable application forms, travel warnings, as well as locating other local passport acceptance facilities.
