Sammamish Symphony Orchestra Presents Summer Vacation: A Musical Trip Around the World

Release Date: August 09, 2019

Join the Sammamish Symphony Orchestra for a musical trip around the world – all from the comfort of Pine Lake Park!

Led by music director and conductor Adam Stern, the orchestra’s annual free summer concert, part of the City of Sammamish’s Concerts in the Park Series, embarks on a musical journey exploring the sounds of Brazil, Venice, Rome, Paris, Ireland, Scotland and more. The program also features one of the orchestra’s 2019 Youth Concerto Competition winners, clarinetist Bram Schenck.

Bring a blanket, some chairs, and pack a picnic dinner or purchase food at the park and enjoy an evening of popular works and light classical favorites from places far and near.

And if outdoors is not to your liking, join the orchestra inside on Friday, August 23 at Village Theatre for a repeat performance, part of POPs! Goes Issaquah, sponsored by Rowley Properties.

Fun for all ages!

No tickets are needed for the Pine Lake Park performance. And although the Village Theatre performance is free, a ticket is required. Limited free tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis from Rowley Properties located at 1595 NW Gilman Blvd, Suite 1 in Issaquah.
