City Council passes Emergency Ordinance establishing six-month moratorium on the acceptance of applications for concurrency certificates; Applications from Public Agencies and for Affordable Housing Duplexes exempted.

Last night at its regular meeting, the City Council passed Ordinance O2021-529 which repeals and replaces Ordinance O2021-525.

Ordinance O2021-529 established a six-month moratorium on the acceptance of applications for concurrency certificates and took effect immediately upon its adoption.

This new Ordinance includes exemptions for the following:

  • Single family residences on existing vacant lots
  • Accessory dwelling units
  • Affordable housing duplexes on existing lots
