Stormwater Pipe Inspection

Crews will inspector stormwater piped on Issaquah Pine Lake Road between 228th Avenue Southeast and Southeast 32nd Way from April 21–April 25. Traffic disruptions will be minimal, with only occasional single-lane closures expected. Appropriate signage and traffic control measures will be in place to ensure the safety of both workers and the public.

2025 Citywide Traffic Counts

The City of Sammamish will collect traffic counts throughout the city from April 28-May 12. Tubes will be placed on main roadways to collect traffic volumes and cameras will be setup at intersections to record vehicle movements. This equipment will not impact traffic, however they may be felt when driving over them. Drivers should also use caution when passing the contractor’s vehicles when stopped on the side of the road to place tubes or check on their equipment. Ziply Fiber Restoration Work

The Ziply permits are currently suspended by the City of Sammamish. Ziply is still allowed to perform restoration work associated with previous construction activities. Restoration activities include soft surface replacement, asphalt patching, and sidewalk replacement.

City of Redmond Work

Road closure on 187th Avenue Northeast near Sammamish city limit

This is a City of Redmond development project.

A City of Redmond development project requires the temporary closure of 187th Avenue Northeast adjacent to Sammamish neighborhoods to accommodate work for The Cove short plat located in Redmond. Their contractor will close 187th Avenue Northeast between East Lake Sammamish Parkway Northeast and Northeast 53rd Street. A detour will be in place along East Lake Sammamish Parkway Northeast and Redmond-Fall City Road NE (SR 202) to manage traffic during this period. This closure may impact Sammamish local traffic, including NE 54th Place Northeast and NE 55th Street. The closure is tentatively scheduled to begin on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2025, and is expected to last for approximately eight working days.
