Sahalee Lane Closure

There will be a single lane closure with flaggers alternating traffic on July 14-16 between 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM. Motorists may expect minor delays over these hours. The work allows geotechnical exploration and installation of a slope inclinometer north of the Sahalee Greens gate and south of NE 36th Street.

Louis Thompson Tightline Project

1-Way detour on Louis Thompson Road will be extended through July 25, 2025 for soldier pile retaining wall installation. This extension allows the project to advance wall construction in coordination with overhead utilities on the power poles. Extending this ongoing detour will reduce the impact on motorists and residents and eliminate the need for temporary road closures.

Paving will occur at the following locations:

NE 37th Way and NE 38th St at 208th Ave NE

NE 16th St and 211th Way NE

This work will start July 14th and end July 23rd.  Lakeside industries will be doing the work and will also be notifying residents. Utility iron will be lowered in the road first followed by grinding and then paving. Traffic control will be present for traffic and pedestrians.
