This is a joint event between the City of Sammamish and the City of Issaquah, hosted by Eastside Catholic School.

Accepted Materials: 

All fees must be paid in cash only at the event entrance. All materials must be clean and dry. 

PLEASE BE PREPARED TO PAY FOR ITEMS AT EVENT ENTRANCE. PLEASE PAY WITH EXACT CHANGE.

Confidential Document Shredding

This service is performed on-site. Documents are not taken to a secondary location for shredding. Visit atg.wa.gov/community-shred-events for more paper shredding options.

• Limit of 4 file-size boxes OR 5 bags per car

Styrofoam Blocks and Packing Peanuts

• White Styrofoam blocks 
• Packing peanuts in any color - please keep in a box or bag
• Expanded polystyrene (look for the #6 or EPS inside the recycling symbol)
• NO urethane foam cushions, hot tub covers, expanded polypropylene or foam insulation

Mattresses

• Mattresses and box springs, any size
• $35.00 per mattress 
• $35.00 per box spring
• NO furniture, frames, wet, or soiled items

Propane Tanks

• $10.00 per residential five-gallon tank
• No other tank sizes will be accepted. 

Porcelain Toilets and Sinks

• $25.00 per each toilet and sink.
• Toilet seats, hardware, and base wax rings must be removed. 

Refrigerators, Freezers, Household Air Conditioner

• $35.00 per each refrigerator, freezer, and household air conditioner

Bulky Wood

Please lay a tarp under material for ease of removal. No cardboard will be accepted. Please recycle cardboard in your curbside recycling bin.

Rain Barrel, Compost, and Worm Bin Sale

The City is offering a limited number of rain barrels at a huge discount. This is to encourage the use of recycled content material and more efficient use of water.  In addition, start backyard composting with a compost bin to save resources and money. Composting is a natural process that turns yard waste into rich soil. Yard waste contains mostly water. Once the material decomposes, rich soil is all that’s left. Worm bin composting is an efficient way to convert kitchen scraps into nutrient-rich compost for your garden. Simple to assemble and can be stored in or outside. Items are made from recycled plastic.

All rain barrels, compost bins, and worm bins are $30 each. Cash only. No pre or post-event sales. Please provide exact change for user fees.
