Meet the City's first K9

We’re thrilled to welcome K9 Falco, a 2-year-old German Shepherd, and his partner Deputy Lee Wunderlich to the Sammamish Police Department!

Falco is trained in tracking, searching, and suspect apprehension, and together the duo has completed over 400 hours of specialized training to serve our community.

As Sammamish grows, this new K9 team will enhance safety, reduce response times, and strengthen local policing — all through our partnership with the King County Sheriff’s Office.
