Republic Services drop-off location July 16 – 18

Due to the ongoing work stoppage, Republic Services is providing free drop-off locations for Sammamish residents to dispose of their garbage, compost, and recycle on Wednesday, July 16, Thursday, July 17 and Friday, July 18. MLK National Day of Service

UPDATE: This event has been rescheduled to February 3rd due to weather concerns.

Join the Sammamish community for the Martin Luther King Jr. National Day of Service and help restore our parks and green spaces.

This volunteer event will focus on removing noxious weeds, replanting with native species, and mulching to suppress future weeds from growing back. The event will be at Lower Commons Park.

Give back to the community, learn about native plants, and enhance wildlife habitats! Water, snacks, gloves, and tools will be provided. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear long sleeves/pants and closed-toed shoes.

Make sure to prepare for cold weather. Wear warm clothes and bring along a raincoat. We will meet near the Lower Commons Community Garden.
