Sammamish Ranked as the 13th Safest Small City in the U.S.

A recent analysis by MoneyGeek ranked Sammamish as the 13th safest among 660 small cities in the U.S. MoneyGeek analyzed crime statistics, quantified the cost of those crimes, and calculated costs per capita. For the purposes of the study, small cities were defined as having between 30,000 and 100,000 residents. Sammamish was the only city in Washington to rank among the top 100 safest small cities.

Sammamish has also been given the distinction by safewise of being the Safest City in Washington for the last two years.

Since its incorporation in 1999, the City of Sammamish has contracted law enforcement services from the King County Sheriff’s Office.
