Sammamish repair event
The Sammamish Library, in partnership with the King County Solid Waste, will host a community repair event Aug. 2 from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m.
This is a free event at the library inside the main meeting room. Skilled volunteer “fixers” will try to repair and mend small household items and clothing for residents. Fixers can potentially work on electronics, small furniture and clothing. All items brought in for repair must be clean.
Fixers cannot work on any items with gasoline, cell phones, microwaves, knives, tool sharpening or any other lengthy reconstructive repairs.
