Update: two related home invasion robberies

UPDATE: Two Home Invasion Robberies in Aldarra and Trossachs Neighborhoods

The investigation is still active regarding the two armed robberies. Here are updated details:

  • The first incident occurred on Thursday, January 27 at approximately 9:00 p.m. in the Aldarra neighborhood
  • The second incident occurred on Monday, January 31 at approximately 11:30 p.m. in the Trossachs neighborhood
  • At this time, we do not believe this event is random
  • No one was physically injured in either incident
  • Suspects are three armed black males in their 20s wearing masks
  • Same suspects are believed to be involved in both incidents
  • In the first incident, a safe was stolen and suspects fled in a vehicle
  • Voice recording of the suspects is overheard on 9-1-1 recording from the second incident
  • A suspect can be heard calling out to one of the other suspects by a name that sounds like “Yeese”

There is an active investigation of two occupied burglaries that appear to be related. There were no injuries during either incident. The first occurred on Thursday, January 27 at approximately 9:00 p.m. in the Aldarra neighborhood of Sammamish. The second occurred on January 31 at approximately 11:30 p.m. in the Trossachs neighborhood of Sammamish. Sammamish Police are actively patrolling the area with a visible presence.
