Flood Update 2/12: Issaquah-Fall City Road & Evans Creek Preserve Closure Update, Flood Resources

Release Date: February 12, 2020

Thank you for your patience as the City recovers from the recent flooding and the ensuing state of emergency declared for King County. If your home of business suffered damage from the flood, please report it to King County Emergency Management. You may be eligible for financial relief.

Continued Closures

Issaquah-Fall City Road:

Both the City of Sammamish and King County have sections of the road closed due to flooding. The surrounding wetlands and other geographical distinctions make short-term intervention by our crew especially difficult in this location, and we do not currently have an estimate for re-opening.

  • Issaquah-Fall City Road from Klahanie Blvd to Duthie Hill Road is closed except for local/school access due to water over the road (orange).
  • Duthie Hill Road from Issaquah Fall City Road to SE Issaquah-Beaver Lake Road is closed except for local access due to water over the road (orange).
  • Issaquah-Fall City Road from Duthie Hill Road to 274th Ave SE, with no local access (red).
