Fourth On the Plateau Returns After Two Years

The City of Sammamish is excited to announce the return of the annual Fourth on the Plateau celebration after a two-year hiatus! Join us at 6:00pm at the Sammamish Commons Plaza and later for the fireworks show at 10:00pm. Kicking off the summer, this event is free and open to the public where there will be opportunities for community and family fun all around!

A wide variety of food vendors will be available for event goers including C. Davis Texas Barbeque, Mediterranean from Chewaya and Levantine, Five Hooks Fish Grill, Panda Dim Sum, Central Asian cuisine from Tabassum, grilled cheese from the Cheese Pit, vegetarian options from the Vedic Cultural Center, Mexicuban, Macho Burger, savory and dessert crepes from Gugu International, Ekternal Bliss Kettle Corn and Simply Kettle Corn. For sweets, Kiwanis will have ice cream for purchase and milk popsicles from Kulphi.

Featured entertainment for the Fourth on the Plateau includes performances by cover band 3 Trick Pony starting at 6:00pm until 7:45pm, and indie-rock band SWAY from 8:15pm-10:15pm at the Commons Plaza. Activities for everyone will also be available, including an 18-hole miniature golf course, bouncy houses, a spray park, rock painting courtesy of Sammamish Friends, glow in the dark products from Uncle Stinky’s Magic, and giveaways and toys from Timberlake.

There is no shuttle service provided or no general parking at the Commons, but many other options for parking will be available near the event. $5 paid parking will be at Sammamish Hills Lutheran Church, Mary Queen of Peace and Skyline High School. Free parking will be held at Sammamish Highlands Center, Eastlake High School, Central Washington University, Pine Lake Covenant Church, Discovery Elementary School and Pine Lake Park. All locations are within about a mile to the Commons.
