City Snow Response March 13

Update 5:24 p.m.: Our crews will continue to work and monitor conditions. If you need to go out, familiarize yourself with our plow map!
Update 1:20 p.m.: Crews are servicing main roads/priority routes only. There are no road closures at this time. We do have one crew dedicated to downed tree response.
Update 12:51 p.m.: Republic Services has notified the City that they were unable to pick up all collections today (they did do some). Republic Services will be calling customers to inform them that they will collect double material at no charge on the next regularly scheduled service day.
Snow response update: Crews have plowed lifeline routes. Trucks are now adding sanders and applying salt to improve traction. Due to the heavy snow, one crew is currently dedicated to vegetation control. Did you know that Sammamish has over 210 centerline miles and 415 lane miles of public roads? The City developed four Priority Routes prioritizing serving the greatest number of people as well as accommodating transit, police, fire, and medical responders’ needs.
PARKS update:
  • All parks are currently closed and will remain so, as the weather does not show any signs of improving.
  • Senior services and evening reservations for the Beaver Lake Lodge have been cancelled.
