Stormwater Pipe CCTV Inspection
Pipe inspections using CCTV technology will occur 7/28 – 8/1. All work will be conducted following safety and operational protocols to ensure accurate inspections and minimal disruptions. Traffic disruptions will be minimal, with only occasional single-lane closures expected. Appropriate signage and traffic control measures will be in place to ensure the safety of both workers and the public.
Louis Thompson Tightline Project
Two-way traffic returns on Louis Thompson Road at the end of the day on Thursday, July 24. Construction is ongoing for retaining walls and curb and gutter installation will begin shortly. Motorists can continue to expect delays from flagging operations at specific work zones and are advised to use alternative routes if possible.
2025 Pavement Overlays
Lakeside Industries will be grinding the existing asphalt, placing new asphalt, and adjusting utilities in the roadway at West/East Beaver Lake Drive SE, from SE 24th Street to SE 22nd Place. The work will occur from June 30-July 31, from about 7am to 4pm.
The right travel lane will be temporarily closed throughout most working hours. Flaggers will be alternating the traffic during lane closures.
2025 2025 ADA Barrier Removals
The following sites may experience the right travel lane temporarily closed during working hours (7am-5pm) from July 14th through August 22nd. Traffic control will be provided.
-Site A: Replacement of damaged sidewalk panels at 16 locations
228th Avenue SE/NE, between SE 4th Street and NE 8th Street (both sides of street)
-Site B: Replacement of pedestrian curb ramps at the two intersections
SE Klahanie Blvd, at the 256th Avenue SE & SE 39th Way intersections
Road Striping Maintenance Night Work
King County will be performing striping maintenance work on the city’s roads starting the evening of July 15th to refresh existing fog lines, center lines, and raised pavement markers. This work will be taking place at nighttime between the hours of 9pm to 6am. Crews will place signage and warnings of wet paint, and drivers should expect delays and use caution.

Ziply Fiber Pot-holing Work
Ziply will be performing potholing work beginning July 31-August 7 along 228th Ave SE. Occasional single-lane closures are expected. Appropriate signage and traffic control measures will be in place to protect the safety of both workers and the public.

In Seattle, northbound I5 is reduced to two lanes across the Ship Canal Bridge for repair work through Friday, Aug. 15.
