Tree Update

A tree may be removed that has become an imminent threat due to recent storm damage or has already fallen, during the bomb cyclone storm event. The City has issued an emergency proclamation in response to the bomb cyclone storm event, providing flexibility to address threats and clean up. Photo documentation is required. For more information about tree removal on private property due to the storm visit: https://www.sammamish.us/government/community-development/permit-center/storm-damage-tree-removal/

Parks

As of November 27, the following parks are open to the public:

  • Klahanie Park
  • Northeast Sammamish Park
  • Upper Commons Plaza
  • Lower Commons
  • Illahee trail
  • Community fields at Inglewood Middle School and Eastlake High School
  • Sammamish Landing

We do not anticipate opening any other parks this week as our crews continue to assess the damage and haul away debris. We are sorry for the inconvenience but hope that our community will utilize the open spaces if they are looking for outdoor recreation this week.
