The City manages seven natural turf fields and three artificial turf fields. The natural turf fields are open from March 1st through October 31st then closed during the winter for field restoration. The artificial turf fields are open year round.

Athletic Field Closures

Should inclement weather or other situations make the fields unusable, it will be noted on the phone rainout line (425-495-2493) daily.

Important Notice: The rainout line will only be updated when the field is closed. If line is not updated, then the field is playable.

  • Weekdays the rainout line will be updated by 3:30 pm.
  • Weekends and holidays, the rainout line will be updated by 7:30 am.

FAQ:

What does, "Delayed, Game time decision" mean?

  • This means the fields are open and prepped, but the coaches on-site will make the final decision.

The recording is the same as yesterday, why didn't it get updated?

  • The rainout line is updated if the field status changes. If it rained multiple days in a row, the recording may still say an "updated" date of a day in the past.
  • The recording is updated by 3:30pm on weekdays, if you're checking earlier in the day, it is unlikely to have been updated.
