2026 Pavement Overlays

Project Summary

The City of Sammamish 2026 Overlays Project will resurface pavement on five streets throughout the City:

  • 212th Avenue SE: from SE 24th Street to SE 14th Place, and SE 8th Street to SE 4th Street
  • Issaquah-Pine Lake Road SE: from 228th Avenue SE to 234th Avenue SE
  • SE 29th Street: from 228th Avenue SE to 226th Avenue SE
  • 223rd Avenue SE: from SE 20th Street to the north end of the road
  • 220th Avenue SE: from SE 16th Place to the south end of the road

The major items of work include the removal of the top layer of existing asphalt, subbase repairs, the placement of new hot-mix-asphalt pavement, and the installation of new roadway markings. Adjacent pedestrian curb ramps will also be upgraded to meet ADA compliancy.

This project is part of the City of Sammamish Pavement Management Program, which provides major street maintenance of roadways. This maintenance include street overlays, pavement rehabilitation, curb and sidewalk repair and appropriate Americans with Disabilities (ADA) retrofit work. Pavement overlay projects also replace pavement markings and vehicle detection loops for traffic signals. For more information on the Pavement Management Program, visit the link below.
