A sunny street with a pedestrian crosswalk, yellow pedestrian crossing signs, a median island, trees on both sides, and orange construction barrels on the right. The road is empty and lined with clear lane markings at East Lake Sammamish Parkway.

Overview

The City of Sammamish Public Works Department has designed a designated mid-block crosswalk on East Lake Sammamish Pkwy SE, south of SE 33rd St, to provide access to East Lake Sammamish Trail.

The proposed traffic and pedestrian safety improvements on East Lake Sammamish Parkway includes the installation of raised median island with pedestrian refuge, rapid flashing beacons, shoulder widening, traffic curbs, pavement markings, and traffic control signage.

The project is complete.
