Town Center Plan & Code Amendment
Project Overview
The City will update the Town Center Plan and associated development regulations in parallel with the 2024 Comprehensive Plan Periodic Update.
These updates will ensure alignment with the 2024 Comprehensive Plan Periodic Update, add future capacity for local housing needs, and enhance the City's framework for delivering affordable housing.
The update, referred to as the Town Center Plan & Code Amendment project, began in January 2024. Work will consist of four phases, detailed below.

Project Timeline
The timeline for the project has been extended to accommodate a change in the City's transportation consultant.
Work is continuing on the project, including key tasks under Phases 1 and 2, which include existing conditions, a code audit, and stakeholder outreach and coordination.
Once the transportation consultant is on board, we will provide additional updates on the project timeline.
