On Tuesday, August 1st, 2023 - neighborhoods throughout the City of Sammamish are invited to join forces with thousands of communities nationwide for the 40th annual "Night Out."

The Sammamish Night Out, in conjunction with National Night Out, is designed to heighten crime prevention awareness, generate support for and participation in local anti-crime efforts, and strengthen neighborhood spirit in crime prevention campaigns.

Participation in Night Out is simple: Turn on all outside lights at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1st. Lights are a visible statement of neighborhood unity against crime.

Between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., join with your neighbors outside in some planned activity. This might include a BBQ, a potluck, an ice cream social, or just walking around and visiting with each other.
