June 16, 2023 Recycling Event

This is a joint event between the City of Sammamish and the City of Issaquah, hosted by Eastside Catholic School. 

Thank you to Eastside Catholic, E-Cycle Washington Program, PaintCare, King County Solid Waste Division, and the King County Hazardous Waste Management Program. 

Accepted Materials 

Oil and Latex Based Paints

• Interior and exterior architectural paints are accepted including latex, acrylic, water-based, alkyd, oil-based, and enamel.
• Shellacs, lacquers, varnishes, primes, sealers, and stains are also accepted.
• Spray paint will not be accepted.
• All products must be in their original container with the original label. All products must be in liquid form. Cans do not need to be full.
• Limit of 100 gallons per vehicle.

Electronic / Computer Equipment

• DVD players and VCRs.
• Stereo equipment.
• Printers, copiers, fax machines, and scanners.
• Computers, computer monitors, and laptops.
• Mice and keyboards.
• Tablets and e-readers.
• Cellular devices (remove all personal information in advance).

Television Sets

• TV sets encased in plastic.
• Wood consoles.
• Sets encased in wood.
• Big screen TVs accepted.

Confidential Document Shredding

• Shredding and recycling of confidential paper.
• Limit 4 file-size boxes. No exceptions.
