The City of Sammamish received an application for a reasonable use exception (RUE) on March 21, 2019, for the development of a single-family residence on a lot within the R-6 Zoning District encumbered by critical areas and their associated buffers. The subject property contains a wetland and is located within a critical aquifer recharge area. The critical areas, when combined with the required buffers, provides little developable area for the construction of a single-family residence.
