Project Events
The Town Center Plan and Development Code Open House was held on February 28, 2024 at City Hall. The event brought together members of the community to engage with staff, advocates, and developers to share ideas and gain insights into transformative housing strategies shaping Sammamish's future. Project Meetings
The timeline for the Town Center Plan & Code Amendment project has been extended to accommodate a change in the City's transportation consultant. However, work is continuing on the project, including key tasks under Phases 1 and 2, which include existing conditions, a code audit, and stakeholder outreach and coordination.
The next project updates to the Planning Commission and City Council will provide an overview of existing conditions and the code audit. Meeting dates are now scheduled for June 20, 2024 (Planning Commission) and July 16, 2024 (City Council).
Once the transportation consultant is on board, we will communicate further regarding the project timeline and upcoming opportunities for community input.
