Our Sammamish Forest Photo Contest

The “My Sammamish Forest” photo contest was part of the development of the City’s first Urban Forest Management Plan(UFMP).  The UFMP outlines a set of goals and policies to achieve the City’s vision for its urban forest. The contest was created to highlight different ways our residents value, connect with and celebrate the City’s urban forest.

Over 250 photo submissions were sent into the 2018 #MySammamishForest Photo Contest by nearly 100 photographers. The 11 below were selected by a jury as finalists. In partnership with the Sammamish Art Commission, the City hosted an exhibit of these and 10 additional photos at City Hall.
