The City of Sammamish received an application for a shoreline letter of exemption regarding normal maintenance and repair of an existing dock within the shoreline of Lake Sammamish. The repair work includes replacing the worn decking with ThruFlow grated decking and replacement of the worn floats and wooden framed platforms with an ACZA frame platform secured with total of 12 steel piles (6" diameter) within the existing footprint. The subject property is located in the R-4 zone and adjacent to Lake Sammamish which is a Shoreline of Statewide Significance. This parcel is located within the Lake Sammamish Shoreline Residential Environment Designation. Per Washington Administrative Code (WAC) 173-20-370 Lake Sammamish is listed as a shoreline of statewide significance.
