Sustainability Commission
The Sustainability Commission is the newest City commission serving as an advisory group to the City Council. The Sustainability Commission provides recommendations on sustainability projects and programs. This includes community engagement on city initiatives related to implementing the adopted Climate Action Plan and Urban Forest Management Plan to assist the City in reaching its environment and sustainability goals. Commissioners are appointed by the City Council for four-year terms that are staggered.
The Commission welcomes and encourages public comment about sustainability initiatives, capital projects, facilities, events, and programs.
